John N. Reynolds One of the most interesting cases of resuscitation that ever came to my knowledge was that of George Lennox, a notorious horse thief of Jefferson County. He was serving his second term. Sedgwick county sent him to the prison the first time for a similar offense-stealing horses. The most wonderful part of his story occurred during the time he was dead. Being a shorthand reporter, I took his story from dictation. We give the account to the reader just as we received it from Lennox. May God bless this experience to the awakening of many lost souls.

This first man was Adam and his wife’s name was Eve. God provided a home for them in a beautiful garden. God loved Adam and Eve and they loved God. God instructed Adam to take care of the garden. God told them that they could eat anything they wanted, except from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and that they would die if they disobeyed. Good news—Jesus is alive! He arose from the grave! He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). Jesus wants to lead us home to His heavenly Father.
What About Your Future? Who can think about the future without considering whether there is another existence after this life? Man cannot escape the thoughts of his state after death, but is inclined to put them out of his mind. He busies himself with the things of this life, placing thoughts of death, heaven, and hell into the distant future (Matthew 24:48, Ecclesiastes 8:11). The reality is, however, that a choice must be made. To do nothing will mean being eternally lost.
