Eternity defies man’s imagination and comprehension. It is not an object, nor a place; it is not a period of time. It has no beginning and it has no end. Everyone from Adam to the last one born will be in it. In all of creation, only man, clothed with a changed and immortal body, will make the transition from time into eternity. Man is the only creature who has the “breath of life” (Genesis 2:7) and who lives forever as God does. Now in life, while there is yet time, our eternal destiny can be decided. “Eternity!—Where?” oh, “Eternity!—Where?”
Does the Bible give an answer to the often asked question whether or not a person can have an evidence of salvation? Can a person know if his sins are forgiven or not, or must he wait until Judgment Day to find out? It would be most unfortunate and risky to leave this most important question unsettled until then. This love from God reaches farther than natural love and family ties. It enables one to love his enemies and those who may hate him (Matthew 5:44).
Forgiveness
Forgiveness Through Christ’s Blood “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things… But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:18-19). Our forgiveness comes through Christ’s death and the spilling of His blood for the sins of man (Hebrews 9:22). Let us take note that, because of our sins, we would be worthy of eternal death. But because of His love and mercy toward us, Jesus died in our stead, so we can be forgiven and our transgressions covered. Unforgiveness Brings Bondage Unconditional Forgiveness
John N. Reynolds One of the most interesting cases of resuscitation that ever came to my knowledge was that of George Lennox, a notorious horse thief of Jefferson County. He was serving his second term. Sedgwick county sent him to the prison the first time for a similar offense-stealing horses. The most wonderful part of his story occurred during the time he was dead. Being a shorthand reporter, I took his story from dictation. We give the account to the reader just as we received it from Lennox. May God bless this experience to the awakening of many lost souls.
Free from Fear
What Is Fear? The Fear of God The Fear of the Future The Fear of Failure The Fear of Suffering The Fear of Death What is Fear? Fear, a secret enemy, invades men of every age and race and every walk of life. It is subtle and devastating, poisoning our thinking, robbing our inner peace, and squelching our zest for living. It makes us nervous, uneasy, alarmed, disturbed, upset, and fainthearted—what unpleasant, unwanted feelings! Security and contentment are blessings that come when she allows God’s plan in her life.
The Cost For many people, gambling starts in small ways. It is offered as a harmless form of entertainment, an escape from the humdrum of life. Casinos offer an alluring mix of lighting, food, drink, and music. In this party atmosphere, senses are dulled. It becomes hard to control impulses and urges. Casino workers are trained to help maintain and enhance this mood. Why Gamble? You Can Be a Winner!

The Light of the World The Bible is the word of God, the everlasting truth. It contains the account of creation, man’s disobedience to God, and the agony which came upon man because of sin. It also tells us of God’s love for man in making a plan to redeem him. It tells of a Savior who was born, died for man’s sin, and was raised from death for man’s salvation. Whoever believes its message will experience forgiveness of sins, peace of mind, love for all men, power over sin, and a living hope of eternal life. God’s Wonderful Creation
Mary and the Angel The Birth of Jesus The Shepherds The Wise Men The Reason for God’s Gift Jesus was God’s Son. He lived without sin and was perfect in all his ways. At thirty years of age, Jesus began to teach the people about God, his Father. He did many miracles such as giving sight to the blind, healing many people of their diseases, and even raising the dead. Above all, he taught the way to have eternal life in heaven. Then he gave his life as a sacrifice for the sin of the whole world.
